In Diet Sayler we present an artist who has taken the most highly individual stance imaginable in the broad field of Constructive-Concrete art. His is a groundbreaking contribution to the geometric abstraction of recent decades, marking a distinctive, new departure in the context of the international avantgarde. The present exhibition, conceived as a retrospective covering work from the early 1960s to the late 1990s, does full justice to this circumstance.
