I believe that Chance fundamentally questions the idea of a universal harmony. It basically causes us to scrutinize the idea of order and destiny. The geometrical colour-shape-principle in connection with the “free-fall” Chance, as I have developed it in my work, reveals my artistic treatment of these questions. I believe that it is important to extend the definition of constructive art to include the categories of cheerfulness and drama. For me, Chance is one of the great themes in art.
